Blanco says state, feds close to Road Home bailout deal
WASHINGTON — Gov. Kathleen Blanco said Thursday that Louisiana and the Bush administration are getting closer to agreement on funding the up to $4.5 billion shortfall in the state’s Road Home rebuilding program.
