Vitter blames delay on politics

WASHINGTON -- Sen. David Vitter, R-La., assailed the Senate's Democratic leader Tuesday for not moving more quickly to take up legislation authorizing $21 billion in flood control, hurricane-protection and environmental restoration projects nationwide.
