Corps releases levee height needs

Levees along the eastern border of St. Bernard Parish and southern edge of eastern New Orleans will be raised as much as 11 feet -- up to a height of 29 feet in some spots -- to protect from storm surge flooding created by a 100-year hurricane, Army Corps of Engineers officials said Thursday.
